1year later..and me and my fam still go here monthly...(WE CRAVE IT ) our go-to is now the prince or king combo.. we always get the SHRIMP OR CLAMS and king crab if we're feeling EXTRA the seafood always HITS!! The GARLIC NOODLES (best I've had at a Cajun place tbh), Cajun fries, and potatoes/sausages are also a MUST GET!!!! Soooo GOOOD.. we love the service too!!! Khang and the staff always treat us so well when we go here.. Go here nowwwwwww....!!! Other items we've gotten: *balut (so good) *escargots/other snail apps (these were probably the only dishes we thought were okay..the meat was really tough and chewy..so hard to eat)

I love this place so much! They have great seafood boils! Today we just went with a few things to try! Of course, I need to get a dozen fresh oysters! So delicious and served well! And there fried rice is fantastic! You can asked for extra crispy on the rice and it's phenomenal! I also tried the strawberry Moscow Mule! Very delicious! And we got the Calamari! Best appetizer! The service was nice! Not alot of people there when we went. But all in all, very helpful and kind! Inside was clean and organized! This is a food spot to do an epic seafood boil one day!

Good if somewhat pricey food. Excellent service. I got a salad and what I call the "lazy person's" crab--crabmeat in the shell on a bed of garlic noodles. They were out of watermelon juice, which is seasonal, so I opted for ice water, which I know restaurants frown upon, but it really is my favorite thing to drink. I arrived at 3:00 pm and was seated immediately in the mostly-empty dining room. Everything was served lightning-fast. The salad was fresh and huge--lots of arugula with a handful of cherry tomatoes and a bit of cucumber. The sesame dressing was sweet and tasty. The crab was nicely seasoned and the portion of garlic noodles very generous. Definitely on par with Crustacean and Thanh Long without the crowds, noise, and rushed service. They were very patient while I sat on hold with my insurance carrier, scowling, (for almost 90 minutes(!) Clean and unfussy decor. Napkins on the table definitely appreciated. I'd have needed a lot of them if I'd ordered a boil where I'd I get my hands dirty and have a telltale buttery mouth! My server was terrific. Very attentive. Quietly boxed my leftovers and left the check. When I apologized for staying so long, he reassured me that I need not worry. Had anyone been waiting for a table, I would have retreated to my car but it was nice to be able to munch on salad greens and drink cold water to pass the time. The price--not for the faint of heart, but certainly competitive with like restaurants in the City. $96 + $20 tip--a splurge for a late lunch but worth every penny. Thank you, Roasted Crab!

This place has been open for some time and I finally got to visit with some work friends. I've been craving crawfish and I'm still on the look out for a spot that tastes like Crawdaddy's Cajun garlic butter sauce! My fave Milpitas location closed down =( First off, customer service is on point! They had at least two trainees serving us and they were very attentive plus friendly. Plenty of seating with a high ceiling, won't ever feel stuffy. Lots of tv screens for game watching as well. Food was served pretty fast on a Friday night. They don't serve the seafood boil in plastic bags but rather metal dishes. Eats: *1lb crawfish + 2 corns x2 with Oh Cajun sauce (original Cajun garlic butter), mild & medium *Lemon Pepper Fried Tofu *Garlic Noodles *Spaghetti + Crispy Chicken, comes with bread Crawfish was cooked well-- so easy to remove the shell from the little tails and they were nice n chewy without being rubbery. Sauce thickness is comparable to Boiling Crab. I like the mild spice and garlicky Cajun sauce. Corn was so good dunked into the sauce. Only complaint was without a bag trapping the heat, the food got cold quickly. Lemon pepper tofu was delicious! Would totally get this again. Garlic noodles were too sweet. Maybe no sugar next time? Spaghetti was interesting, more of an Asian twist. Not a seafood lover? They've got you! Plenty of options like Vietnamese shaking beef rice plates, steak, fried rice, chicken wings, creamy pasta, soups, salads, even escargot with different sauces like lemongrass garlic. Want even more seafood? Check out their classic fried baskets with fries, oysters on the half shell, shaking salmon over rice, scallops, mussels, Manila clams, razor clams, shrimp, lobster, and of course crab. Lots of seafood boil combos available too at market price. Full bar so choose your libations wisely. They serve complimentary sweet orange slices after the meal!

Located next to Mercado AMC, a great way to get dinner before a movie. I enjoyed the food and fresh seafood. My daughter who's a picky eater loved the catfish even though it looked spicy it has the perfect flavors like popcorn chicken but with fish. The crab was delicious perfectly cooked and butter garlic flavors is so yummy. The garlic noodles was okay, I would say it needed more garlic and salt. Would highly recommend trying this place I thinking the way also have a happy hour menu

First of all, the vibes--they're immaculate. The crab was perfectly roasted--juicy, tender, and just the right amount of char on the edges. And the seasoning? UGH, I can't. So garlicky, so herby, so... elevated. Like, I could taste every single flavor, but it all worked together in harmony. Also, let's talk about the dipping sauce. I'm not even sure what's in it, but WOW. I was practically drinking it. (No shame.) Pair it with a glass of chilled white wine, and you're in literal heaven. Our server was a literal angel. She explained the menu like she had written it herself, gave amazing recommendations (she's the reason we even ordered the crab--bless her)

I had a great experience at The Roasted Crab. The service was good, and the pricing was fair. The restaurant has a clean interior and offers pleasant patio seating as well. Our waitress recommended the shaking beef, which I decided to try. The portion was large, well-flavored, and I was very happy with the choice. I'm looking forward to coming back with a group so I can try the seafood, which is priced by the pound. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience, and I would definitely recommend The Roasted Crab.
